We are proud to present our nine, young, inspiring authors and illustrators. Each of them have completed the Imagination Explorers Children’s Writing Course and Project, learning new literacy, illustration and book production skills. Working together with Helen Barrios, a professional Illustrator and Designer, their work has been produced into three amazing new children’s books.

‘Bablo, The Wayfinder – Voyage of Discover’ is a chapter book aimed at 7-11 year olds, where together each one of our young authors contributed to the overall book by writing one of the chapters. Come along and discover how Bablo’s family fun day out takes an unexpected turn when he loses his parents and is whisked through the Rainbow Vortex. Can Bablo discover the key to his family inheritance, decode the mysterious symbol and be reunited with his parents?
Our second and third books are ‘Everyone Can be Brave’ and ‘Everyone Can Feel Amazing’ which are written by Hannah Barrios, and co-illustrated and planned with Dana Hovell and Johnny Mears. These two books form part of the book collection ‘Everyone Can Books’ and explores ideas around Friendship, Fears and Self-worth.
Join us as we celebrate their achievements, as together we encourage, educate and enable our young people to explore and express their aspirations.
